Pimsy the Pimple (“Pimsy”) is an AI skin companion designed for general guidance, education, and support around skin and skincare.

Pimsy is smart, but not always right.

Pimsy is non-medical and non-pharmaceutical and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated responses may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a user's specific situation.

By accessing or using Pimsy, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

§ 1 General Information

(1) Pimsy the Pimple (“Pimsy”) is operated by System Akvile GmbH, Gänsemarkt 33, c/o Impact Hub, 20354 Hamburg, Germany.

(2) Pimsy is a web-based AI application that provides general skincare guidance, educational content, and AI-supported conversations.

(3) Pimsy is intended solely for informational and educational purposes.

§ 2 Eligibility

(1) Pimsy may be used by individuals of all ages.

(2) Users under the age of 16 should use Pimsy only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

(3) By using Pimsy, you confirm that you are legally permitted to use the service under the laws applicable in your country or region.

§ 3 No Medical Advice

(1) Pimsy is not a doctor, healthcare provider, medical device, or emergency service.

(2) Pimsy does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment.

(3) Information generated by Pimsy should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional healthcare advice.

(4) If you have serious, urgent, or worsening symptoms, you should contact a qualified healthcare professional immediately.

§ 4 Use of Artificial Intelligence

(1) Pimsy uses artificial intelligence technologies and third-party AI systems to generate responses.

(2) AI-generated outputs may:

• contain inaccuracies or errors;
• be incomplete or outdated;
• misunderstand user input;
• provide unsuitable or irrelevant guidance.

(3) Responses generated by Pimsy may depend on third-party systems outside the control of System Akvile GmbH.

(4) Users acknowledge that AI systems are experimental technologies and should be used responsibly and critically.

§ 5 User Responsibility

(1) Users are solely responsible for how they interpret and use content generated by Pimsy.

(2) Any decisions, actions, skincare routines, purchases, treatments, or outcomes resulting from the use of Pimsy are the sole responsibility of the user.

(3) Users should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive personal information within conversations.

§ 6 Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• use Pimsy for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or misuse the platform;
• upload or share malicious, dangerous, or unlawful content;
• attempt to reverse engineer or exploit Pimsy or related systems.

System Akvile GmbH reserves the right to restrict or block access where misuse is suspected.

§ 7 Intellectual Property

(1) Pimsy the Pimple is a product and registered trademark of System Akvile GmbH.

(2) All content, branding, design, software, logos, technology, and materials related to Pimsy are protected by intellectual property laws.

(3) Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit Pimsy without prior written permission.

§ 8 Availability of Service

(1) We aim to provide reliable access to Pimsy but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free availability.

(2) Features, functionality, AI systems, or availability may change, be updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

§ 9 Limitation of Liability

(1) Use of Pimsy is entirely at the user's own risk.

(2) To the maximum extent permitted by law, System Akvile GmbH shall not be liable for:

• decisions or actions taken based on Pimsy responses;
• skincare-related outcomes or reactions;
• inaccuracies, interruptions, delays, or errors within the platform;
• loss of data, business interruption, or indirect damages;
• issues caused by third-party providers or AI systems.

(3) Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited under applicable law.

§ 11 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
